Become a MNO Master Fisherman!!

I was thinking about this next weekend and how excited I am to fish for 4 days straight. I then thought about what tactics I will use and where I will fish. I have lots of places I want to try and different things I want to do but it all revolved around Walleyes..........That got me thinking, and this is what I came up with.


Your goal this weekend is to catch at least 5 different speices of fish. The people who can come back next week and post pictures of all 5 different fish will have bragging rights as a MNO Master Fisherman.

I thought it sounded kinda fun!

I predict for myself I will have:

Walleye
Crappie
Smallmouth Bass
Northern Pike

And

A Perch!

You can pick whatever 5 fish you want..That is just my prediction for myself.

maybe try for a rock bass. one step up the studly ladder from perch.

Perch

I hate them pesky little Perch.
for that fish I will not search.
I will not fish them in a lake.
not one perch will I take.
I will not fish them in a creek.
if you fish perch you are a geek.
I will not fish them any day.
I would not eat a Perch fillet.
I will not fish them in a river.
I'd rather drink and kill my liver.
a yellow perch I will not touch.
did I mention i do not like them much?

This is a really cool idea.? I am going to see what I can come up with on the 2 days that I hope to be fishing out of the next week.

I am planning to be on Superior on Saturday so who knows, maybe there will be a little trout and samon in the mix.

1. rock bass - red eye special
2. redhorse - freshwater bonefish
3. sheephead - wiley and unpredictable
4. dogfish - homely s.o.b.
5. bullhead - defy gravity when used as pushpins

  I knew this would be something JS would reply to once ya said PERCH. What does he do once he finds one in the bottom of his fish pail?  :o ::) >:( ??? Maybe we should have a first annual Camp Jigglestick perch contest. We could have a cook out and prizes even shirts. Hey anyone here help design a shirt for the occasion?

Grandson and I did get a variety of Northern, large mouth bass, rock bass, sunny, and the prized 11 inch PERCH.
