I fished the Kinni on Wednesday.  Nice day to be out.  No hatches going on but was able to take fish on dark Hares Ears.  It was a hot day and the water was very clear so the fish were very spooky.  I was having trouble until I broke my line and had to re-tie.  In that time the fish that I was targeting forgot that I was there and I was able to pluck 5 out of a single run.

A friend of mine caught two nice fish on a #3 Rapala (brown trout colored).

By the way, I know that there are plenty of fishermen who would like to go catch some Trout on spinning gear and that is fine.  I would advise that you bend down these barbs on the treble hooks.  You really don't ever need them.

Hey, sounds like a good outing!  It's nice to "pluck" 'em out like that, isn't it?
Hey, looky what I done caught the other day at Seven Pines!  EEEEEEK!!!  Believe it or not, this is one of the "kids."  I've seen Momma a few times and she's one BIG BULL SNAKE!  Maybe 6ish feet and fatter'n a mofo.

That thar snake really, really wanted to bite me.  Oh yeah, he was plenty pissed off by the time I was done with him.  I'll have you know that the snake was unharmed...p.o.ed, definately, but otherwise unharmed.  Those bulls will keep mice and rat numbers down...even small kitties or puppies if they get too close.  So sorry, that was uncalled for! ;D
