We'll be fishing at Fisherman's Wharf next weekend. Anybody have any up-to-date ice conditions there? Normally I just check their website, but it hasn't been updated since January 16th. Any feedback would be appreciated...thanks!
You're gonna take that out on the lake?!?!

I haven't talked to the wharf but I have talked to 4 other resorts on the lake today. This is what I have....

EAST SIDE

Hunters: They have roads plowed out 9 miles. You can access a lot out there and vehicle traffic is not restricted. I called inquiring about pulling a house that weighs close to 5,000lbs and they said no problem.

Macs Twin Bay: They now have roads out to the gravel and traffic is not limited so whatever you have i'm sure you can get out.

WEST SIDE

Northstar Resort (Wigwam Bay): They have good roads out in the bay and to Shermans Flat. They are tied into Terry's roads and he has access to most all flats in the area.

All resorts reported slow fishing. The best report I have heard came out of Barnacles on the north end. Visit our FISHING REPORTS page to see their report.

I was up on that side of the lake last weekend.  We were about 3 miles out in a sleeper.  Under the house there was a little over a foot of ice.  I did go out and drill a few holes and I would say there was between 18 and 24 inches of ice, I didn't actually measure so that is just a guess.

Now for the fishing report.  Out of 8 guys I did the best catching 1 6" walleye.  My dad caught about a 4 inch perch and that was it.  The guy in the house next to us had been there for 6 days and caught 2 fish.
