Did anyone watch the UFC fights last night? A bunch of us got together and ordered the fights.

The most exciting fight was Brock Lesnar vs Frank MIR. Lesnar came out and pummeled Mir for the first minute and then Mir took Brock to the mat and won by submission, the whole fight was over in less than 90 seconds of the first round.

The inexperience of Brock showed big time in the fight, once Mir got him on the mat it was all over. I'm looking forward to Brock in the future though, once he gains the experience he'll be unbeatable.

The other fights were good too, I can't believe Sylvia lost to Noevirea (sp?)

lesner will never has his place in the UFC. the only thing he has is wrestiling. He is about 8 years behind all the other fighters. I think if he is to make a name for himself he should call up CHucky the iceman and work on his knock out punches.. Just like mir said he wanted to submit him to get it over with cause his punches are like sledghammers hitting you.

Maybe he should try boxing instead.  There are not many good heavyweights around right now.

Also if you think about it you dont just train for 8 months and walk into the cage with some one with great jujitsu skills like mir and think your ganna ground and pound the guy. Mir is great off his back has won many fights on his back. plus the guy has been fighting his whole life.

I personally think that Lesnar will eventually accomplish ANYTHING that he set's his mind to.  Your right about one thing Mink, he is definately behind the other fighters because he hasn't had enough training...but with more training, he's going to be unbeatable, in my opinion.  His trainer Marty Morgan is a really good friend of mine, so of course I'm a little prejudice.  I think loosing this fight is going to motivate Brock to train even harder...if that's possible.  He's a frickin' machine!!
