HAHA yeah prety much.

This weekend i wont be able to hunt very much because one of my high school buddies (in a class of 24 people) was killed in a fourwheeler accident 2 days ago and i will be doing that fun stuff . SOOOO i guess you southerners will get a chance at shooting some birds because they will be able to slip through the casslake area. GOOD LUCK and shoot em up!  :toast:

Sorry to hear that.  My condolences.

We'll leave a few birds behind for you.  Good luck and be safe when you get out.

Our crew shot a total of 10 ducks and 2 geese from the Upper Winnie and Squaw Lake region.  Lots of birds and plenty of shooting.

1 hen mallard, 1 hooded merg, 1 bluebill, 4 redheads, and 3 woodies (2 drake and 1 hen).  We did knock down a canvasback and spent 3 more shells and 45 minuets looking for it.  Never found it.

Pictures to follow.

Here is a 3 man limit of ducks and a 3 man limit of COOT! whoody who! every coot was cleaned and eaten including the legs, and i have to say...mighty tastey! we grilled them and had them as ordervs before the real thing got there! Its amazing what and little butter, salt and a case of beer can do to a meal haha  :toast:

Fubar-

Was that case before eating to mask the taste or after eating to get that nasty taste out of your mouth?       :puke:

As my 2 year old says, "Icky".

Fubar let us know when you shoot a banded coot!  :fudd:
Where I'm from calling, flagging and decoying are just basic skills and the kids will do a little guiding just to pay off some bills.
