sorry i kind of assumed, a snake head is kind of like an eel pout but they are very aggressive and breed up to 5 times a year, there are 2 different types of snakeheads in the us, the snakehead and the giant snakehead the giant snakehead is known to attack people, they can grow to be over 5 feet. they also can "walk" on land kind of like a sidewinder rattle snake action, they also can live outside of water for a long period of time, they are being illegally imported into the united statesl. the united states banned these fish due to how they could impact any body of water they are released in. they feed and feed and feed, they feed and breed then when the body of water is all used up they go to the next one

SS you can catch them in virginia and maryland, and until now you can maybe catch one in wisconsin. time i agree i watched something on the discovery i think it was called fishzilla and they did an entire show on the giant snakeheads, it was cool but they are not something you want in your lakes. and there mouths are full of sharp teeth

They made a kind of a horror movie about them also I believe...called, go figure, SNAKEHEAD!!! I think they're a version of bowfin(dogfish) and eelpout...bowfin are nasty too, I caught a huge one once when bass fishing...(near state record, but didnt know it at the time, just wanted to get it out of the boat! ) They also chow down on game fish also...dont lip land em if ya catch one...THEM THINGS GOT TEETH!

yeah i thought i had a nice northern on and it turned out to be a bowfish, i just cut my line then throw them up on shore. same with bullheads i hate dealing with those dumb things but i wont cut my line
