I am just back from my favorite fishing trip of the year - the English River system north of Kenora and this years trip featured my biggest walleye ever. A 29.5" beast that looked like it was on steroids it was so stocky. I didn't get a measurement for the MNO tournament but I did catch a 28" walleye earlier in the day that I did get a measurement of.

Caught her on a jig and leech in about 20' of water and released her.

That is a dandy!!  Great job.  That reminds me to call the old man at the cabin.  He is about 20 miles south of Kenora.  Fishing has been good up there this year.

Wow, great looking eye there Fawkinnae, sounds like your trip was a blast.  Now you get to look forward to your personal best being a 30" or better, keep on a fishing.

She was beautiful. We close-talked. I hugged her and away she swam.
Thanks everybody.
