Has anybody ever had to break a rotor to get it off?

Man, I just got a Cavalier for my kid and was doing brakes on it....

I had to phisicaly beat the  :censored: out of the rotor and break it into several pieces to get it to come off!

I got a puller, but, she still broke into chunks to get er off!

OK, I'm done venting....I'm OK...I have a beer in hand!

i have had to cut lots of rear drums off before. what i did was
put penetrant oil on and beat the rotor from the inside out where
the caliper was while turning the rotor between hits. but by the
time you get the rotor off, it needs replacing anyways! ;D

Every once in a great while I or the kids get one of those. Tire goes back on and down to crown auto. We then sit behind the glass with a soda and enjoy the entertainment!

I have shattered plenty of rotors in my time. I know they need replacing and I give it hell and beat the crap out of them. It is frustrating but then it becomes a stress relief.
