We have had a lot of new members lately, I thought it would be cool if everybody would let us know where they are from and also maybe where you go hunting/fishing etc.

I am from Bloomington, and I hunt and fish up by Garrison, MN.  My husband and I have 20 acres not far from Mille Lacs.

I'm from Rochester Mn. My family on my father's side has a cabin near Aitkin, Mn, and my mother's side has a cabin west of Pine River. I hunt and fish down in southern MN, but we go up to either cabin about six or seven times a year to fish and clean things up.
Marry an outdoors woman. Then if you throw her out into the yard on a cold night, she can still survive.

GG we must pass by eachother an awful lot.

I am also in Bloomington with wife, 1 daughter and the dog. We have a fishhouse out of Hunters point on mille lacs(east side) and my inlaws have a cabin on Farm Island lake, about 20 miles straight north of garrison.

I don't fish much anymore (when I do its Mille lacs and Farm Island) but Deer hunt near Longville every year and Mcgregor and Malmo on occasion. Pheasant hunt anywhere I can but make an annual trip to Webster SD every year and we leave tomorrow :fudd:.

Wow, ....I think you must be stalking me!!  J/K!  ;) We use to have our fish house out of the RedDoor, and now we pretty much go out from Garrison or from Terry's (mainly in the spring and summer), Terry's is about 3 miles or so before the Blue Goose (<which is by the way where I met my husband 13 yrs ago, he followed me into the girls bathroom there...guy's will do anything for "true love" ya know! lol! I mean seriously, who does THAT?  :rotflmao:).  I know where Farm Island lake is, my husband and I looked at some property there once many years ago.  Also, I use to go up to Mcgregor ALL THE TIME....I think I just MIGHT have been one of those "bar-flies" back in the day with all my girlfriends, boy we had some fun times up at Pier65 and Sportsmans..we also use to tip a few back at Whispering Pines, and Horseshoe, many years ago....Ah...the good ol' days...!   :toast: Thanks for the nice reminder.... lol!

So did you grow up in Bloomington?  Kennedy or Jefferson guy perhaps?

Nope, I'm a Spartan(Richfield).

We don't usually go to the bars much anymore but if we do its usually the Naughty Pine(now a new name but can't think of it) or hang out at Hunters Point if ice fishing. Will pop into a bar here and there if out snowmobiling but no usual hangouts.

Havn't been to the fishhouse in a couple years now. We are going to try and make it this year but my daughter is still pretty young to keep entertained up there. My brother has been getting good use of it though with his 2 boys, they're at the perfect age for that.

OH, your one of THOSE!! (spartans!) J/K again!~ Anyway that's kind of funny because I'll be talking with some of the Richfield wrestling coaches this week...their youth program and Kennedy's is hopefully going to be having some small tourney's against each other this year. Anyway... I graduated a LONG time before you, but we probably do know some of the same people....one of these nights we will have to meet up in our chat room when both of us are on.

I live in Watertown SD, but before that that lived in Perham, MN and before that Greenland MI.  I hunt and fish out of all 3, spend opening weekend of MN Deer season around Perham, on my inlaws farm, then leave for Two weeks of Deer season in Michigan.  Me and some friend just recently Purchased 40 acres by Ponsford MN, only private land for 3 miles.

I have just started deer hunting in SD a big change from MN and MI deer hunting.  So still getting used to it.  But mostly Pheasant hunt and Fish here in SD.

I was born into a rather large school on a relatively small lake in Northern WI at a young age I was caught and later released or as I like to say escaped into a rather large body of water called Lake Iwanttobethere. Here I have grown to story  book size. A lot is said about me behind my back but that is all behind me. Welcome to MNO  I am sure there is some room in the pond for ya...
