I got an e-mail saying that Cabella's bought this deer from a Wisc deer hunter for $13,000

Did anybody else hear this?

I hadn't heard that. That would be such a hard decision to give that up! Something so unique, let alone a very nice buck.

Ah ha... that is what it is!  I could not figure out what looked so different about the deer aside from the colouring... It's eye is closed!  Good question as to why that would be?

I got the same email... one of those that had been forwarded a bazillion times... hard to tell where is is and who bought it from who.  i know that I would at least do a mount and have the rest of the hide tanned if not made into a coat or something.  Take care and N Joy the Hunt././jimbo

Actually I guess he kept knocking into trees while walking through the woods and the hunter said he heard him coming from a mile away.....
