I got this passed on to me by a friend. He got it sent to him by Mike T.  I don't have any more info. on this-sorry.  I can't imagine bringing it up and seeing this!

Quote
Mike T. of Spokane Washington, caught this 6x7 bull that was caught in his downrigger.  It was killed by an achery hunter.  Mike was fall fishing Salmon on the Columbia River.  It was brought to shore and released.

Thanks for sharing T!  :happy1:

My guess is....the arrow was still in the Elk.  Of course it was dead, dragged up by the cannonball of the downrigger. (Just guessing) And they they brought it to shore and unhooked it from the lines.  At least that's how I understood it.   I'd hate to catch it after it has been decomposing after a while!  I've caught cleaned fish remains on Winnie-not good on a hot August day!  :puke:

Jeff - You forgot the part where he tried CPR for 15 minutes... then pronounced it dead.

I try not to think about such things...besides this was Washington, not Arkansas.   :rotflmao:
