I'm looking for any suggestions regarding a ice out gtg? Should we make a full day out of it ? lunch at a access? ect.ect. I do know that we will be fishing Madison lake . Any positive input will be helpful! Thanks

i'm down for a gtg as long as its on a day when i don't have to work the only problem would be trying to eat at the landing would be close to impossible not enough boat parking

the only way i could see eating out there is if everyone parked by the beach and someone was grilling but what do i know lol but it'd still be fun maybe even get a lil wager goin

We've done it in the DNR access before.  There would be plenty of room not that many people fish before opener!

kyle , save the wager and just give it straight to me ! lol we will have to see whats going with the ice and we can go from there. maybe we can have some guys from the metro come down and catch a pile of fish ? ah who am I kidden, noone in the Metro can catch can they? lol jk

I know that up until about may 14th the crappies were still schooled up pretty thick out there! may 5th wasa perfect day last year !

Nice !  :rotflmao: We might be switching lakes ? Gauker and I drove all over the lake and never marked a school of fish! It was really  :cold: Water temps ranged from 33.1 - 37.1
