I hope some of you were able to get into them this past weekend. With the cold weather I am going to check out the access this morning and see if there is a spot that we can get out with 4 wheelers or sleds  :taz: It might have healed up enough to get out with wheelers. I will post it on the site if it is ok  :dancinred:. Otherwise call me at the Rock @ 320 532 3431 and I can tell you the situation. The perch bite is in full swing now :happybounce:
Thanks
Rock

HEY GUYS
I JUST GOT BACK IN AN HOUR AGO, AND THE LAKE LOOKS GOOD AND SOLID AGAIN. THERE IS STILL 2 FT OF GOOD ICE OUT THERE AND I DID NOT SEE OR BETTER YET FIND, ANY BIG HOLES FROM THE WATER DRAINING DOWN LAST WED. I DO HAVE A SMALL BRIDGE OVER THE SMALL CRACK NEXT TO SHORE. IT IS PRETTY SOLID AND THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE MUCH MOVEMENT WITH THE COLD TEMPS. COME ON UP WITH YOUR SLEDS OR YOUR 4 WHEELERS ONLY, NO TRUCKS  FOR ONE LAST GO ROUND THIS WEEKEND. I ENDED UP WITH 18 NICE 10 TO 12 INCH PERCH AND A 36 INCH NORTHERN THIS MORNING. IT WAS COLD  :cold: AND WINDY AND THE BITE WAS A LITTLE SLOWER THAN IT HAD BEEN, BUT I DID END UP WITH SOME NICE ONES BY 11:00 AM  :fudd:. THE BITE WILL CHANGE FROM DAY TO DAY. I AM GOING OUT ABOUT A HALF OF A MILE AND THEN DOWN TO THE BAY IF THERE IS NOT MUCH HAPPENING BY 9:00 AM OUT OFF OF THE SECOND REEF. IT IS MORE OF A 7:00 AM TO 11:30 AM THING, SO TRY TO GET OUT THERE AND SET UP BY 7:30 AT THE LATEST.  :oops1:
THAT IS THE SKINNY ON THE SHORELINE ICE AND THE BITE AS I PROMISED
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND
WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE ICE.
THANKS
