Whats in your menu for this years deer camp?
So far we have hot wings, smoked and deep fried ham, potato soup,beef stew and some jerky
for snacks. Need some more ideas!

Last year was my first camp. I took up some veni chili that was a huge hit. Cold meat sammy's are good. Continental breakfast stuff is a plus. Then you gotta have the snacks for the nightly poker games and such.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

We are heading to the property to do the pre-deer camp stuff. Porterhouse steaks for tomorrow night, Then whoopeeeee!  Hot dogs....... for lunch the next day... Maybe veni burgers for dinner
Sat. night. Still trying to set the menu for deer camp.

How about some cheesy hashbrown casserole or even just cheesy potatoes with onion/garlic seasoning...a great compliment to any main course meat item and you can even wrap them in tin foil and do on the grill or over the fire if you need to, just remember to leave a small vent opening on top  :chef:

ill be bringing venison brats and venison summer sausage with a few venison steaks. we have sante fe soup also, eggs bacon toast sausage cereal usually grandma is there to suprise us with something, dont need to plan when ya have grandma there to cook for everyone, why is it that everything grandmas make is good? lol

Well, since we really don't do "deer camp" cause we hunt where we live....
It will be normal quizine (sp) Maybe some fresh back straps, but we eat wild game just about every day. Whether it be fish, goose, deer, bear, grouse, duck or pheasant....it's ALL good!
