So who's going to be there?  I'm in but I'm blowing off a wedding to be there.  SO if no one is interested I'd like to know.  I'm still offering the hot dogs and buns.

I will be there unless there is a weather problem.  I hope to take some pictures of your catches.  Does anyone have a time frame.  I will be registering at Fish On but my estimate is about 2.5 hr. drive.  I will bring my rods too.  Just in case the photo taking gets slow.  I have never been to one of these so I guess the most important question is where will the General be with the hotdogs?

The where, and exact time has yet to be determined.  I spoke with Land Dr @ Fish On and will be contacting him as the date nears-likely on Thursday night to get some details.  My plan was to get there about 10am and get pointed in the right direction.  Then when you roll into town, stop by Fish On and he can point you in the same direction.  I have a red GMC pickup with a red topper.  I'll likely have my Eskimo QFII set up nearby.  Any questions-pm me please.

We have a lot of walleyes swimming around...even during the day...but they are not biting.  Soooooooo...we will put the "Jaw Breaker" jigs to the test.  We have a situation where there does not seem to be a lack of eyes...just can't get them to bite.  Anyone up for the test?

By my recommendations, I will be giving everyone in the "Get Together" pretty much the same general location to go try for these eyes.  It is a big area so there will be plenty of room...in other words it is not just one single tight little edge that everyone needs to try to fit into.  With that said, it should make the photo taking and hot dog eating easier.  In fact, I beleive Sam is going to rent one of our houses and we could make that the central station for reporting, eating, etc. if you would like.  People are free to explore the rest of the lake...but this location that I am going to recommend has been the best over the past few weeks.  I set my Warrior Boat rep up in this area last Sat. and he got 5 eyes and his dad got 2 jigging.  He seen many more and missed a bunch too he said.  I don't want to set the expectations too high as it is still called "fishing".

Sam...let me know what time you want to start registration, etc. and if you want to add to your jig display at the store.

Fish On is located two blocks south of the stop lights in downtown Glenwood.  We have some of the best shiners in the state and only $4.50 for a fisherman's dozen.

I have also been getting a couple pm's from other members asking if this is a private thing.  I have been responding that it's welcome to all members.  I'll try and be at the store by 10AM.  I hope someone is bringing the grill and the ketchup.

General, if there is a problem with freeloaders just tell them to put the hot dogs in their own buns. that way you only have to supply the wieners.

I will be there.  Don't forget to register at Fish On  I look forward to meeting everyone and I am deleting all the pics on my camera so that I plenty of memory for big fish pics.  Winner of the grand prize must be registered.  All grills will be searched before being allowed into the top secret honey hole(PLEASE LET THERE BE ONE GRILL).  LandDr asks that you leave your GPS at home.  You won't need it.  The fish will only be there on Sat. from 10am-2pm.  Cold front moving in on Sunday.

Dang it, looks like that old sea hag mother nature might raise her ugly head out here in west central mn, friday,sat,and sunday. Wish she'd stay gone till monday, I'd like to put some face'es with some names

Nice weather today with a nice warm up.  No snow as of yet but they say a little is on the way.  Should not be of a concern.  Winds look to be light and should keep the wind chill down as well.

Registration starts at 9am...how late are we going with allowable fish for the event?  The walleye bit starts to pick up around 3 and prime time is 5 to 7 but can catch eyes till 9 or 10pm.

Store is usually open until 8pm on Saturdays.
