I think you are a better fisherman than a judge.   I think you should play.  I saw the pics you had to judge last year.  The minnows  I forgot about in the back of the garage for 2 months in the summer did not have as much fuzz on them as some of the entries.   I though you were just waiting for your favorite number to jump in.  I am hoping when the General finishes cleaning the turkey turds out of his truck he ponies up and gets into the fray too.  You have about 6 weeks to change you mind.  I hope you do.      then :archery:

For those of you that haven't heard yet....Fawkinnae has been appointed the #2 Judge for this years challenge.

And no, there are no rules about being a Judge and fishing in the contest. So, that is up to you Fawk.

I have my reasons for not fishing in the challenge. And in no way, shape or form, will that hamper my ability to lay the smack down!  :rotflmao:

Just don't mess with da judge!  ;D

Now look what you did. No Hunterdown - No General.

Well that just about does it for me then. If HD & General won't sign up what's the point anymore. I never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this would ever happen. If I remember correctly I signed up in the #7 slot at the time so withdrawing my name would mean the next person to sign up would be #7 otherwise it would screw up the entry numbers.

Therefore in a move of solidarity in support of two of my most bestist buddies on MNO. I regretfully have to let others know that I've made the decision. To submit to my best instincts and gracefully serve notice to everyone that there's No Dam Way I'm dropping out of the 2010 challenge.

I know I'm an SOB!

Now as far as Hunterdown's decision, we should be grateful that he's still going to be our #1 judge. I was thinking if we stole all his guns he couldn't hunt any more and would fall back on fishing to maintain his sanity. All we need is a volunteer to steal the guns. What about The General? I figure if General gets shot while stealing the guns it would be no loss since he's not in the challenge anyhow.

Not only that, but the loss of The General would make me the new King Of Smack! This is turning out to be a Win...Win situation.

**All kidding aside there seems to be a unanimous feeling that Hunterdown not joining The Challenge would be a great loss to all of us. I was even going to offer you my popular avatar if you sign up, but you can't bribe a judge. So, I guess we'll all have to respect your decision my friend. :banghead:

I didn't mean for this to be a big production....   :oops1:

I had discussed this with Fawk and the General at the GTG (so, this is no suprize to them or a few others)
I just think that it would be in the best interest of the challenge, that I don't participate in the fishing portion. Lets just leave it at that.

If the General chooses not to fish, then, that is up to him (not by my choice)

This year my team will be dedicating our season to MNO's #1 judge. In honor of your dedication to the MNO fishing Challenge our team would like to honor you with The Spirit Of Service Award. Therefore at seasons end when we order the 2010 Championship Rings there will be one extra ring ordered for our most bestist #1 judge.

Bigger question is how many signed up last year but did not participate or could not find a red and white bobber with MNO on it ?

Supose you could take me on an "all expense paid" goose hunting trip!  ;D

(But, maybe that would be construde as bribing a judge)

Well, Hunterdown finally explained to me why he's not signing up for 2010 Fishing Challenge. So instead of me telling everyone what he told me I'll just let him tell you in his own words.

Go ahead HD.......  You may need to crank the volume a bit.

:oops1: Geez, I almost forgot we haven't even assembled any teams yet, so I guess I jumped the gun.  Wait a minute that was the same post I put up last year. Is this 2010?  Just another senior moment! :doah:
