Dr. Bob's BWCA Super Sandwich Spread.
 
During a recent BWCA fishing outing with the infamous Dr. Bob he took the time to share one of his north woods sandwich spread recipes. I've decided to pass it on to others so they to can enjoy Dr. Bob's BWCA Super Sandwich Spread.
 
Ingredients :
 
Two slices white bread
To much diced chicken
To much Mayonnaise
Seasoning of your choice
 
Equipment needed:
 
One rubber sandal with deep track thread
One Lund boat with beautiful forest green carpet
One fishing rod
 
 
Preparation procedure :
 
Make sure preparation area is well cluttered
Remove pre-made sandwich from cooler
Set fishing rod down on floor
Unwrap sandwich
When fish strikes promptly place unwrapped sandwich on right knee
Lunge for fishing rod swiftly while knocking sandwich to the carpeted floor in one motion
Stand up to set the hook while placing right foot on sandwich and slide foot forward
After the disappointment discovering that you missed the fish, refocus on the sandwich spread preparation
Remove the sandwich parts that have not been smooched from carpet and throw overboard to the gulls
Inspect the under sole of your sandal and admire your BWCA Sandwich Spread
 
Caution:
This should only be attempted by persons over 200 pounds!

I was out the door headin to the boat when I remembered the red/white spoon with MNO on it. So I goes to my trusty ol' tackle box and sure as heck...I don't have one. Black/white and Yellow with black spots but no Red/white. Guess it gives me a good reason to fire-up the Harley and head to Walmart...in Alexandria! (I live near Buffalo)

     

I can Harley believe what you just said. And with that bike running I can Harley hear you.

Well DDS you must be having a "Bad Hair Day too".  I'm taking one of those "Grown Ups" out with me tomorrow so we will see.  But someone has to be in first it might as well be me.  I'm hoping my teammates agree our team name should be "2010 champs".

P.S. I'm hitting the Golf course with the wife today so if someone passes me today you are safe until I head out fishing tomorrow again.

Picking a team name that several months from now will go down in history is not that easy.  When your kids and grandkids are asking about the team of 2010 and why they were so special we want to be able to tell them that for starters they had a great name.  The fact that the stars lined up and the three top fishermen on the planet ended up together did not have that much to do with it.    We have been in constant contact.  We sent Corny13 out to do some Reconnaissance.  Fawk and I have discussing strategy and planning where we should put our trophies.   Our name will be posted by Wed. at the latest.  I will not be available much tomorrow because of an annual all day golf gala I will be involved in.  We are not worried though.  It looks like the young guns wore themselves out in the pre smack.

Give me the teams phone numbers and I'll get this resolved by 6:00 am. I'll start calling about, let's see it's 12:15 am now. well everyone that wasnt on my team just had there biggest break of luck that they will get all year. i boated a 29 inch walleye at 2:45am on opening day. had me thinking 2010 fishing champions and i searched for the red and white spoon and bam i forgot it in the truck sitting on the middle console. so you get to stay in the challenge a little longer. pictures to come soon when i can figure out why it isnt working

El Cheapo (Lee) bought me a new fishing hat yesterday since mine was only 12 yrs old and in sad shape. So that's all I needed to catch the big ones. I think this will be the year for Borgie's Raiders.  :fishing2:
