I think it is clear.   You just focus on the staple item. That is why it is there.  Next year you will have to have it legible.    (For you young guys-you need to like, be  able to like.  be like, able to google it).

Well now that DDS knows how to change pictures around I have some pictures of big fish I can loan you from years past to allow you to feel like part of your team.  Even though know Fawk and Corney they will still give you a participation award.  I believe they are the green ribbons.

Dear Lord, Please forgive me for taking it easy on the old timers.  But it's about all they have left is the fishing challenge.  I know you would like me to whoop these guys good, but I'm afraid of what would happen if I did.  they would probably just waste away and turn to dust.  

General, all you do is give us headaches.  The rules have got to be continually be tweaked because of your entries.     I was about to congratulate you on your nice walleye entry and the fact you maybe able to squeak out your side bet. It is clear you spaired no expense on the staple item.  Under 6x magnification you can clearly see black scuff marks on the tiny spoon.  While it is eligble for the challenge and already scored I would dis-allow it in the side bet. Next year we need the MNO clearly visible in the pic.  

Rule #5 for the challenge(5. All fish must be photographed along side a clearly visible outstretched tape measure (Fish board recommended) and must include the staple item. This years staple item is a red & white spoon (daredevil). With MNO printed in the white area of the spoon (see photo thread for an example). This must be included in your photo.)-     [.doesn't say you have to be able to make it out]!!- this year.

     Nice fish General ,  You snuck by again.  

I enlarged it with the program "paint" and could read the letters on the spoon....
Maybe you should get your eyes checked.

Wow DDS, I haven't been on in a while and you still haven't posted another fish.  Well you know what they say,........"When you don't have any fishing skills you better book a trip to Canada".  Maybe they will have someone to help you drive the boat..........we all know how you do by yourself senior scout master.

General- I really don't expect to have any postable fish from the Canada trip.  It is more of a #s game.  I probably will  catch more walleyes in a day than you have in your life.  I do however  plan on posting the big walleye for the challenge in Oct.  I have returned enough back to the lake to know that the challenge winner is in there.  It will be cold then and you young guys will have long been done fishing for the season.  I will be sure to send you a signed picture of the 30+ that puts team dream crushers over the top to win the challenge.  Your wife can sleep with it  under her pillow.

I think you are right DDS.  I believe if I wouldn't have pointed the fish would have taken his pole right out the boat.  But unfortunately I woke him up just in time to grab it.  However he still didn't avoid that big sun burn from falling asleep in the boat.

Most times when you pick up those floaters they don't look so hot. I'm just lucky that Borgie spotted it. She's got eyes like a hawk.

Let's not start talkin shotguns around here. This is the ultimate fishing page designed by the ultimate fisherman for the ultimate fisherman. We have no room for those dropout hunters that still need to help their teams till the end! No more talk of mutiny around here. Just because one team has a teeny weeny lead we don't need to use other distractions to explain failures.


These guys in first have fallen asleep at the wheel. All we have to do is shift gears once or twice and victory is reachable.

    I am back.  I just checked in to see if any of the kids actually caught a nice fish in season.  Guess not.  The old timers will have to finish this thing.  Fishing is about to get good.  Days are shorter.  Water will be cooling and all the candy a$$es will be chasing hybred chickens of some sort.    I concider the challenge starting now.   Anything caught up to this point is a bonus.    .

"Real Men Hunt"

Well, if that just don't go and figure. Here's a guy sitting within striking distance of the top four teams and what does he do but pull a Brett Farve by throwing in the towel. All they need is one good pike, but the team leader say's I don't think I want to play any longer. At the beginning of the draft season I was kind of hopping to wind up on the same team with The General.

After what I just heard I just don't know if he's got the heart. I mean, even Brett is going to stick it out for the team. Now the General say's "Oh I think I'll go hunting instead guys" I just hope he don't pull the same   on his hunting partners.
