Turkey Food Plot?

Ok....I have enough food plot sources for deer.

Now, I wanna build one to attract and hold turkeys.


What is the best thing to plant? (other than clover)
I'm looking for something that I don't have to keep re-planting.
I know down south, they plant chuffa's (sp) But, they won't grow here in cental Minnesota.

What would you sugjest?

We have turkey's all over in out buckwheat. It's a annual but it gets a really good volunteer crop. Oats, Wheat and Rye Grain are also very good to plant for Turkeys. Plant it early enough so it matures in the fall and they'll be there in the spring. We had turkeys in the buckwheat all winter and spring picking seed.
