early anterless season
its this weekend. who is going? i went for the first time last year and it was so-so. i filled my tag in 45 minutes last year. was in and out in a short time. ill be going again in area 601. anyone else getting the gun out early?

I wish I could just hunt from my backyard, we have deer come through each night.  Last night we had 2 does, 2 fawns and 2 bucks - one was a nice 6 and the other a small 4.  They were fighting - locking antlers and such, pretty neat.
I could have pegged any of them from the deck with my bow - I would assume that would be illegal?
I wont be hunting early season though - ill be up pheasant and bow hunting.

I'll be taking 2 kids out to hunt, but won't be hunting myself.

congrats HD. i didnt get one but it was not to bad a weekend to be out. all i seen was 4 small bucks and not one doe(go figure). i cant wait until next saturday!!!
