One week from tomorrow I will be heading to our deer camp!  I thought I would start a thread to find out where everyone plans to hunt this year?  Is it land you own, lease, public or have permission to hunt?

I will be heading to our deer camp in Waskish (by Upper Red Lake).  We hunt mostly state forest land.

I will be on the same land I have been hunting - between Glenwood and Belgrade.
Ill be in a new stand by a swamp (kicked up a nice buck down there when I was pheasant hunting) - My uncle and his son will be in my double stand.

They are predicting high 40s and sunny for Saturday - lets hope that forecast stays true.

I will be in Aitkin sitting in a ground blind with my 10 yr old son. It is private land that I have permission to hunt but the locals had been hunting it in previous years due to it not being used or posted so we had a few issues with them last year hopefully they all got word we will be there again this year.

I'll be bowhunting on opening gun on a private property in Olmsted county. It's about 100 acres, 40 of corn/40 of pasture/and about 20 long acres of sparse woods along a creek. All flat ground, but the best thing is that there is 400 acres of state land adjacent to it.......hopefully I can get a chance at the buck that has been hammering the saplings!

Good luck to everyone!

Just saw the weather again, mild temps, upper 50s and winds from the south... So if that wind holds up, you all can plan accordingly!
Good luck all!

Hello all, I'm obviously new to the board and I'm excited to start reading through all the topics.

We're going to be hunting a little south of Hibbing on a mix of Blandin and private land. Hopefully, we'll have better luck this year than last.
