      Great job guys.  It was a fun tourney and the Judges did a great job.  I am already preparing for next year.  I don't know what would happen if the General was to be on my team.  I'm afraid we would have to still have to smack each other a bit. It kind of got to be a habit and I miss it already.

I had a great time with this years Challenge and hope everyone else did too. I too am looking forward to next years Challenge. First and Second place prize winners I need to get your mailing address and I will fire off those prizes. I also need some pictures for the 1st prize winners so I can put together your custom trophy. Great Tournament!!    Enjoyed the Smack...kinda interesting how the Old Guys did compared to the Young bucks!  Lee will get a Northland  "BoobieTrap"  hopefully wont outfish me with it next year as also a great big pike lure.. 
It was a slow Muskie year for me but the Boobie trap did help me land a 46" Leech Lake beauty.  How about next year we add Muskies in with Pike...kinda like lumping Largemouth and Smallies together..

Thanks for the boobie trap. Unfortunately I have rather unorthodox plans for it. You see my life long ambition is to catch the MN. state record smallmouth. I've got just the place in mind to catch her to. Hopefully it has strong enough hooks since after all I won't be fishing for mire musky or pike. Were talkin giant tackle busting smallies.

I'd like to take a moment to thank the original Master minds of the Fishing Challenge Bobby and Hunterdown. I'd also like to present them with the humanitarian award. Unfortunately, I blew all my money on the football pool today. Therefore I'll just present you with the gratitude of all whom enjoyed the hours of competition on and off the water.

Another Challenge season has come and gone in the blink of an eye. It's hard to believe that so many of us had never gotten skunked this year. We just ran out of time!  Once again we were blessed by the generosity of the many prize contributors and a great support team. I bought a book on Ebonics yesterday to improve upon my smack talkin for next season.  I highly recommend others make the same purchase or you'll never be able to keep up with me on the smackdown thread.

Good luck to all my friends and just remember. I'm commin after you all next Spring on and off the water. :fishing2:

Oh yes, the awards banquet. I can remember last years like it was yesterday. The trophies were handed out first. Then the fine fish dinner.   All this followed by our surprise guest speaker. Just as the speaker took the podium everyone sprang from their chairs  and headed for the crapper. I'm not sure if it was from the food or the guest speaker, but no one returned.
 
 
I'm sure that this years banquet will be much better than last years!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay on sending out the gift cards. I had planned to send all the cards out way sooner until other things became a priority for me. I've been running around taking Borgie for tons of medical tests and seeing a bunch of various doctors. Concerns were brought up regarding cancer. She had to go in for surgery right after Thanksgiving and get a full hysterectomy along with some other surgical repairs not related.

Thanks to many prayers she is cancer free and I just brought her home yesterday. I'll work on getting all the gift cards out this next week. Right now I need to be the nurse for a while till she regains her strength. Thanks for your patents and you haven't been forgotten.

MTCOMMER I am missing only jkjkoda from "Slippin' into the grease". The bumper stickers go to my team - so that's easy. And I have enough info for the precious awards to be designed. I'll be working with the guy who designed the Heisman and a Japanese sculptor so I expect they will be quite memorable.
