We tried a little late season pheasant hunting this morning...

It was a beautiful morning, but the snow is deep. We hit a corn field that ussually has a lot of birds. Over 1/2 the field still has corn up, so, it was tuff to work with 3 guys and a dog that is in training. The one end of the field was covered in tracks, so it looked promising. We walked the rows 60-70 yards apart and by the time we hit the end, the birds were flying every where. Trouble was that they would bust out 80-90 yards ahead of us. We ended up getting a bird a piece. Still a great time to be out walking the corn.  :happy1:

Anybody else been out?

Got some pics to share?

I've been out getting some birds.  Sweat my  :moon: off getting to them though.  The snow is terrible here.  Cattails and tree lines are where I'm finding them.

Hopefully they continue to find food in the deep snow.

Great birds HD!  Now get back to the website!   :whistling: :rotflmao:
