Ill start sorry for the blood on the paper. Nice big doe shot her at 43 yards she went about 25 and piles up.

This is my first archery deer, a  4 x 3 that I stuck on Saturday morning. He came in on a string right to me after making a couple short doe bleats from over 100 yards away. He stopped broadside and slightly quartering away 12 yards in front of my stand so I SWHACKED him!

Here is a picture of the spike buck I got this morning for Team (7) = "BLOODY VANE".

Hunted with the in-laws today.  Had I been with my normal hunting party I never would have pulled the trigger on this one but all they got so far in their party of 5 was a button buck and today was the last day for zone 2.....so, I put some venison in their freezer.

Still have my tag, I'll get the smoke-stick out in a couple of weeks and try again.  New moon the night prior to opener so hopefully the deer are moving a bit more in the daylight.

Oh, forgot to mention, it's an 8 point.
