The Borgster got second place by a technicality, not fishing ability!!
That ain't gonna happen this year!!

If I was to know THAT all it would have taking is to start a Rock Bass challenge to detract you from the real challenge. I would have done it sooner,  Thank you Bobby

   I just checked the leader board. .  I wore out the scroll button on my computer  trying to see who was way, way way down on the bottom.  It was smoking by the time I got to the general.  It was melting by the time I scrolled down to Lee's team.  Just to be nice and allow the other teams to think they have a remote chance we won't post any more fish unless someone can step up to the challenge and bump us out of first for a few seconds.     The only competition this year will be the epic battle for 2nd and 3rd.

   For those waiting to see how the Borgie Beat Down goes this summer you may be disappointed.  The high water conditions already put a thumpin on Greatoutdoors.  Borgie will encounter the same issues and GO is already a non factor so why waste the energy. It's too bad there will not be any competition this year for "Team Avengers"  Wildlife is on his way to an unprecedented, record setting, Hall of Fame worthy, THREE-PETE.

Borgie and Lee are ready! The competition will be fierce with having two of the Fishing Challenge top competitors' working out of the same boat. We have battled it out in the past together and have paid the price. This year the tensions are running high along with our expectations.

Borgie's already scheming up some new strategies to find the edge. She's been rumbling through some DDS jigs we received last year. The battle will be mighty and the scars will be plentiful just as last year when I got my kicked by  Who will be the victor in this years slugfest remains to be seen. One thing for sure, it will be a fight to the finish. One strange thing I can't explain is that Borgie has been taking her bat into her room and chanting in voodoo.  Do you think this Borgie beat down talk has gone to her head?

If the water level is a foot higher than normal this year you need to let down an extra foot of line to reach the bottom this year. It's not all his fault though. You see, they never taught advanced math in school in Ely.

Got some fishing in last night, knew it was going to be interesting as soon as we drove up to the landing and it was a pond of water. Had to put the knee high boots on just to take the straps off the boat. Never ever have seen the water so high. Borgie and Lee are going to find some challenging fishing this vacation. Skeeters?  They are so thick you have to use the whindsheild wipers.
