Well, I didn't expect that kind of feedback from you G.O. I told Borgie to expect willy to bring up a lowlife comment such as your prior statement.  I guess the stress and pressure of the competition brings out the worse in some of the competitors. Or is it just that some folks mouths move faster than their brains? I'm sure willy will be disappointed that you beat him to the punch. On the other hand I'm sure he'll figure out some way to express some lowlife personal attack on our creditability. So if that's the way you really feel I'm sad for you and anyone else that would feel that way.

In a prior year willy made the statement that I probably take photos of my clients fish and enter them in the contest. I take that kind of statement as a personal attack on my creditability. Someone else then posted to willy that was hitting below the belt and that's not right.

Borgie's fish is right up there in the range of mine and we had to work harder this year than most other years. Fishing conditions were we not the best for most everyone in most of the country this summer. Don't try to put Borgie and I in a position of not being forthright and trustworthy because direct personal attacks on creditability is out of bounds.

Smackdown is a fun place and I don't consider myself as thin skinned. I enjoy dishing it out as well as being on the receiving end. But when my honesty/creditability is put on the table I consider that way out of bounds. I apologize for temporarily changing the mood here but, I felt compelled to express my commitment to fair play.

This is the smack down and most anything goes.  We attack pretty much everything here and that's just the way it is.  Heck we accuse Willy of getting his fish from any where besides a legitimate catch.  It's just the smack down and not an attack on your credibility.  Now get back to measuring your clients fish.

Now I know just how you feel Lee, You just past that feel on to someone else me, I thou about pm you but I thou it would be good for other to read, how some one comment could affect Some thou to other that was not involved, General I do agree what said in the smack thread say in the smack and one should not take it to heat,

After further review it has been decided that I misspoke when referring to the specific individual discrediting my reputation on an old thread. Unfortunately it's past the statute of limitations to go to trial and incarcerate the proper the actual offender.

At this particular time it's been decided to free the individual that's been unjustly incarcerated. To compensate for the error I would like to award the following two gift cards to him. I'm sure that he'll find opportunity to use them in the future.

 The quit smack down thread must be in reference to my side bet with Wild that I would not post on the smack thread till the challenge is over but yet smack is still being written about me. scent we are clear the air I was not to happen about how the hold post a fish photo that no one can read to wait 10 hours to repose a photo that clear show the tape, As early in the year I had a better photo of my eye to fine out it would not get the  form the judge and a new rule was made,

but then to have some one do it intention, this rule should apply to all fish photoed (post's your best photo or you do not get a redo!!! ) no asking for a better photo, we all know if you can read the tape or that the head cut off 

 I hope you judges are not on strike today like some of are USA leader are every day, And see that this need to be fix,

Um the answer to that would be NO.  We have ONE smack down thread.  If we let people start smack down threads any where they wanted we would have all kinds of people complaining about things like "Joe Blow is making fun of my T Shirt"   and then having to remove said posts.

1) Lee's first picture that was posted was scoreable (but, HD's computer went down...hench the delay) So, there was no real need for the second photo.

2) Willy posted a pic of a walleye that could be judged, and was. When he didn't like the ruling, posted another photo after the fact, of the same fish (which was disqualified for that reason)

3) No rule changes are made because of whinning.

HD I do under stand why my photo was  disqualified that was not really the point I was making,
