   Don't worry Lee, I won't be wanting that Leech Lake knife anymore.    I am a fan of the Walmart electric knife.  I did give it a try though.  It's going to take me two days to thaw out.  What a difference 200 miles makes.  Fishing in blowing snow.  Everything freezing up.  The access ramp greasy slick.  We did get into some pike.  They too were hard to come by and most of the ones we kept for dinner had been gorging on 3-4 inch crappies. We did not see the 40 incher needed for an upgrade so I can official state that I am done for the open water challenge.       I just hope our team captains fish hold up to take the top spot.

yes it was  and snow well that the hole part of  But Lee I will be taking that knife soon  There was no one but me on the lake today, So i had all the hot spot to myself

   Lee just reminded me of something.  If anyone has fish they are holding and have not had them scored you might want to post them  The deadline is rapidly approaching and for some reason our pages on the site are slowing down.  The first one to a length takes a tie.  If the site crashes you are out of luck.  Good luck and get the pics in cause this baby is about done.

   Well it's finally over.   Last weekend pulling my boat on icy roads was enough for me.  I want to thank my partners and everyone else in the fishing contest that made us push until the very end.  We couldn't break 90 inches but that is extremely difficult to do.  Wildlife has made it look easy the last couple of contests but it's not.  It's been a fun challenge and if anyone got their feelings hurt in the smack down man up cupcake cause there is going to be another one starting in 15 days.  Don't forget to sign up for the ice challenge.  Just so everyone knows in the ice challenge the winners of the 1st and 2nd place teams will not be in the random drawing to start with.  Those 6 will be randomly drawn partners but they will not be on the same team as last year.
