Hello everyone. I've been in mn for 5 years and it all still feels new :) I've been hunting deer since 2015 and do a little fishing. The family likes getting out to our wonderful campgrounds. Thanks for having me here.

Well I qualify as newbe so will add my quick note.
A Ranger for many many years and have hunted for longer than most, only reason is I'm older than most posts I have read. It took most of my life to realize that it is not the shot that counts the most but the preparation and companionship that are the most important. Have hunted and harvested every critter possible in MN and surrounding states but now limit myself to Deer and Grouse at the Farm. 200 acres of woods with 40 acres of hay. Have made 10 small food plots over last 5 years with total of 3 acres in fresh deer food. Forest Grove where I was born 73 years ago is now my hideaway.
Stay healthy and safe and never stop hunting or fishing until you tip over....
