I saw this AP for $10 in the AP market.  Anyone have this and what are you thoughts?

I don't have it but I have read a lot about it.  It is the same as the chip.  If you load the lake on your phone it will work even if you do not have cell phone coverage.   The limiting factor is battery life.

Well I purchased the US&Canada one today for $15.  I figured for $5 more to get Canada what the heck you never know when you might need it.  I'll let you all now how it works out once we get some ice to fish.

So far by looking at some of the local lakes I fish their are 1ft contours.  I think this is going to be great but we will see if it's accurate.

All I ever need to do is step foot on a lake to complete that task.  Even if I left my pole at home the worst that would ever happen is a tie (you'd still have zero).

I have this app. I like it. not real accurate. I think it is a few hundred feet off, but it gets you claser than paper. Well worth the price. It also downloads to your cards so when u switch phones it can go with you not the phone.

I used this app today on a completely new lake and we caught 5 Nords biggest (mine) a little over 33

It showed the basic layout and I picked a spot and it got me relatively close but isant that why we have a vexilar

I would buy it again

we have used this for the past 3 years and absolutly love it. mostly use it for ice fishing but have even used it trolling in the summer. it is very acurate on the lakes we use it on. we verified this with our depth finder on the boat. we use it in the Brainerd area. some lakes are not very accurate but most are within a few feet. i imagine if your fishing a pothole in iowa it wont work very well, but lakes like mile lacs should be just as good as lakemaster. for $10 you cannot go wrong. and like any map, depths will fluctuate with water levels but contours stay the same.

I'm gonna get the 14.99 one cause it includes Canada. From what I understand, the retrieval speed is not as fast on your phone. So, if your using it to show speed while trolling, it maybe off. I guess I'll see once we get back to soft water.  :fishing:
