Replacement stock?
Where is the best place to buy a 870 stock and forearm? I'm looking for a custom/replacement.

The only one I found was from a company called Revolution. They have a laminate with a thumb hole in the stain that I like, but I want a more traditional stock.

I found a laminate on line from a place called Jerry Jimerson's Custom stocks.
We'll see what happens when I get it.

if its a semi-auto i would wait and see what happens with the "gun control laws" as is now a thumb hole stock on any semi auto is an assault weapon. the worst thing is, as written now it applies to anything purchased after feb 1 2013. so your not grandfathered.

Nope, a 870 is a pump.
I looked at the thumb hole stocks, but was not impressed with the "swingabilty"
Because of the different grip, I believe it would it would be fine for turkey hunting.
But for goose or pheasant, swinging on a fast moving bird would be hard to adjust to.

The new stock has arrived, and I must say....this is the coolest stock! I think the daughter will love the new gun when I surprize her with it!

Welp, we picked up the new 870 20 gauge over the weekend and installed the new stock when we got it home.

It looks sweet, and I think the daughter will like her new shooting iron!  :happy1:
