So now General joins in with Boar to talk about the fish that neither one has caught, you guys should be sitting at 0.0 on the score board.

That would be fine by me to start at Zero.  Plus I didn't make the rules you did.  One would think you would be able to follow them or at the very least understand them. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  You can't make this stuff up folks. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

P.S. I've only been in the challenge for one day sorry I didn't have a back log of photos.  But no need to worry you pretty little head about it I will start.

Assassin team member G.O. doesn't play fishing games, he just do it!!! training-087 training-087 training-087 training-087 training-087 training-087
However, it does look like something that Lee would participate in! :whistling:
Appears like fellow Assassin, Cody, knocked one over 20 inches today, putting the Assassins darn near on cruise control!
But don't think we're going to sit on this massive lead, we will continue to fish until we  beat the rest of the teams into submission! :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon:

Just wondering if the bass posted on bottom of page four has been scored? It looks like it has not. I know it is a small upgrade, but still an upgrade.

Welcome general to the challenge.

Sorry to hear about the mess wild has. He was having a record year.

Sorry I see it was scored. I would like to see some consistency on the scoring. Bass Invaders had A 17" scored no deduction with mouth opened wider than ours. Could we add that any opening in mouth will be a .5 deduction?

Rule 5a open mouth will result in deduction from length decided by the judges. Pictures will have to be gone through and adjusted.

I relalize this is the smack down thread, and most things "fly" in here...but, please refrain from dragging others into the fray because feelings can be hurt. Also, try to keep the topic on track. This is suppose to be about giving fishermen on other teams a little ribbing about fishing. Please try not to go overboard, and stick to the folks that wish to participate in this thread. Others may not wish to be brought into "The Smack Down"

Thanks,
HD

Glad to see The General back aboard the challenge circuit. It's hard to smack a guy around when he's standing out a bounds. Now that he's able to legitimately enter the field of play the gloves are off. Forget about the etiquette stuff.

Boy whats up with all those bass pictures with open mouths, pliers not entirely in picture then pliers underneath the fish twice, the bottom lip clearly not on the board man, judges need to step it up a bit those pics are clearly taken by child that snuck moms camera an is just snapping picture at random, very sloppy. Now take the latest walleye picture. Now that guy has his crap together, Mouth closed, properly place on a board with a stop, pliers clearly visible an not obstructed by the fish an in the picture  entirely while battling 5 ft swells on LOW today. Clearly someone to be reckoned with in any challenge. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

It's good to see that The General has already taken over command central for his new and improved team. It could be a rough ride for the rest of his crew. He's been a handfull ever since he was a kid.

Well of course it was a walleye picture, they fight like they are dead, and lay on the fishboard like they are dead. No problem taking a picture of a walleye, Now a bass he is looking for anyway to escape back into the water not lay there waiting for the frying pan.   :coffee:   :whistling:

The large mouth bass is scored constantly by the judges from the upper lip to the tip of the tail.  If the mouth is open and the lower lip is against the front of the tape there will be a deduction.  If the upper lip is at the beginning of the tape you can open the mouth and stretch the lower lip all the way back to it's  :moon: and there will be no deduction.

:doah: As I've stated in the past. " how on earth is a person on his own supposed to stand upright with camera in hand at an average of 5 1/2 ft. to 6 ft. above the fish. While doing that and hold the fish still and pinch the mouth closed with the other hand at the same time" A person would have to have a 60 inch arm length. There is no way it can be done.

Why not just measure from lip/jaw to tail and be done with it instead of all this impractical silly nonsense. The reason the DNR chooses that measurement is only because of one thing. That is to measure a legal size fish. Does anyone here really think our contestants are about to enter an undersize fish?

Now we have legit controversy:

#1  One guys fish mouth is closed and counts.

#2  One guys fishes mouth is almost closed but not all the way and it counts.

#3 One guys fishes mouth is open a tad more than example #2 and its penalized.

By the way with all this jagging around the fish is gasping for air because were trying to keep the mouth closed. Oh well it's only a fish right! WRONG!

I UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S A BIT LATE IN THE GAME TO MAKE A RETRO ACTIVE CHANGE NOW. SO LET'S GIVE THIS SOME THOUGHT FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE.

Our goal should be eliminating controversy by fine tuning our rules to avoid friction.

"And that's all I have to say about that." (Thanks Forrest!)
