There are a small number of members on this site that are very active. We are looking to keep this site less "restrictive" than....cough...cough..... others....

But, in order to do that, we need to get things moving....

Do you know of a bait shop, or sporting goods shop that is willing to post some reports?

Open up some threads for conversation?

Fishing? Hunting? Camping? Out board mechanic? Hiking shop? Anything outdoors related? Whatever....

I stop by here occasionally.I have noticed if you're not a regular poster and involved with the (In crowd) posts don't get replied much.I do do outboard repairs and rebuilding out of my home as a hobby,also boat repair and rebuilding.Nothing fancy but it keeps me off the couch as I am disabled. I like the site just cant get in??Not many from my area either,Glenn57 a friend and the general who I never met, knew him from another site and he lives a few miles away.

I am defently NOT part of the "in" crowd...and I try to answer as many questions as I can.

When you say you can get in, what do you mean?

And, if ya wanna have just a section for boat repair, or whatever, just ask...and I'll hook ya up.
I think it would be a great addition!

That about sums it up.    I am really sorry we have yet to meet. I know we've talked about it a few times and I'm out icefishing your lake all the time.  I know Glenn and I talked about being on a team for some fishing deal over at your place......not sure what happened their besides life getting in the way.  I know if your posting over in the bird watching stuff i have not been there to respond......as unless it's a bird you can shoot I don't know much about it.  I personally think you do have to put a little more work into a site like this to make it rewarding.

I know I got some good feedback from dew2 when I was having auger trouble. And I really appreciate having a guy on here that knows small engines. Hope you stop by more often dew2, and I hope I can help you out sometime. By the way, the fishing challenges are a great way to get to know some of the guys on here, even if you don't get a chance to fish with 'em.

dew2.. I wouldn't worry non. i think we've all posted something from time to time that gets little response. I have to admit I'm guilty of reading what was "recently" posted to and not going into each board and reading the topics.. i do tend to hang out here more then some of the other sites as I've noticed there are fewer ego's jumping around and guys tend to be helpful.

I'm a newbie on this site but have been on a couple of others for years.  Boar told me to get on this site.  I recognize a few guy's on here already [Glen57 and Dew2 for example].  I'm willing to help out in the cooking forum and fishing info in the Arrowhead area north of Duluth.

I love to cook, BBQ, avid smokehead and sausage maker along with hunting and fishing. So if anyone want's some help on smoking meats or sausage making let me know.  I was a butcher for over 35 years and have been making my own homemade sausage for longer than that.  I have my own blog or site.  No advertising and I don't sell anything on it, just my own hobby deal.  I don't know if I can mention it on here but I do refer it to folks who want detailed infor on sausage making so I don't have to repeat the whole process.  I like to bs with folks of the same interests as me and Boar said there are a bunch of great guys on here so here I am      Here are my  homemade jalapeno with ham and cheese sausage I made a few days ago..  good luck

 I kinda started but my body structure is failing I'm healthy but been away from posting cause I dont do much to post about.
 One more rebuild and hopefully I'll be back to compare some strange sausages wit ya!
