Has anyone encountered a puss filled  :sick: (cyst?) like this? When we started skinning this fawn the cyst broke open and ran down the hide and dripped on the floor. It stunk up the garage so much we had to open the doors and throw the deer outside. The guy pulling the hide almost did not make it to the door in time. :puke: :puke: :puke:

I had one around a broad head stuck in the top of the shoulder....Not as bad as that, but was kinda narley....

That is pretty gross - you were smart to chuck it.  Most likely a bad infection from something, that is a lot of pus though - im not sure how the deer get that.

One of our party had a doctor appointment this afternoon and the doctor said it would be an infection for sure especially because of the foul smell. Sad to waste the meat but good it was just a fawn. Going to donate it to the trapper that takes care of my problem beavers so he can use it for bait.
