    While we Union Thugs wish Borgie good luck and a chance to use that new bat up in Ely we realize that her  drawing the General on her team was a bad sign of bad luck.  Hopefully it changes for the better and she can drag him past the Evees of destruction.

   I am excited to finally be able to get on the water pretty soon.   TGO has gotten winded from thumping his chest and given his mediocre walleye and bass at this point it looks like a cake walk for the Union Thugs.

That is a Bigmouth Buffalo fish....some people think they are carp but then are a native fish and sometime hit jigs...have white meat...are in both the missouri and mississippi..are commercially netted and sometimes sold as "Walleye"  haha!  I released her!!   

I was fishing the missouri river for walleyes south of the tailrace of Garrison dam.

Wyofish....no way the big buffs are easy to catch not like a trophy ROCKBASS

I cannot seem to find them on the leader board, anywhere?

Hey! What's so bad about me being the Grand Marshal in the Ely Parade. I noticed that your always at the very end of the parade with the broom and pooper scooper. This year will make it 25 yrs. or is it 26 yrs. in a row for you scooping up the poop at the rear of the festivities.

Ely always likes to honor it's out of town Hero's such as myself.

Of course, I must giveyou an "atta boy" for keeping your team within the Top Ten in the 2013 Challenge, Basement Boy!

You'll just have to wait until The Grave Diggers unleash their secret weapon on you. I've recently learned that stevenjames may be heading up to a once familiar lake called Burntside Lake. He states that he knows that lake like the back of his hand. Years ago he learned so many spots from some old fart that took him under his wing. Don't know if that old timer is still alive but, he picked his brain and milked him for all the info he could get.

Take that with all the knowledge he's picked up on his own and he states he should be able to surpass every fish you've entered in the challenge. I told him he should stop off at your shop when he gets to Ely and introduce himself. Just to intimidate you.

It is possible that he could do okay. 
But, unfortuantely the Motel where he normally stays, and the restaurant he usually eats at, are booked until about November 3rd with absolutely no chance of an opening!!

   The "Union Thugs" do not recognize non-union member Stevenjames.  If he got his so called knowledge from TGO a turnip would be taken  more seriously as a contender than the Grave Digger's secret weapon.  In fact if I was a betting man it would be a toss up to pick an individual for last place.  It would be between Stevenjames and Lee Borgersen who happen to be on the same team.  Lee has a little streak going but Stevenjames nickname is skidmarks so I think together they can actually finish worse than last.      Maybe that is where they came up with their grave digger name.  How can the bar get any lower?  Dig a hole!! 

   Good luck boys.  The Union Thugs are coming to a town near you.

    Our work in Detroit is now finished.  Time to take down the challenge.  It seems to me that the Twinkie put up more of a challenge than The eve of destruction.

Watch out, da Grave diggers are going to make their move. Sounds like Stevenjames is heading north, Lee is heading north and I am finally getting out in the boat for the first time. Had some health issues two days after putting the boat in last month. Nothing serious, just couldn't do much of anything including fishing. After typing that I guess it was serious if it kept me from fishing. Thought I would get out Monday but after spending over a month on the lift, the boat decided it wasn't ready. Been working on the problem and think it is now fixed. Fished off the dock Tuesday just to verify that I still know how. Had a quarter and my camera with me just in case but could only muster a 12" bass. Time to start knocking these other teams down the leader board.

  Only because I released one in the Walker area that would have been close.  It was so big it was uglier than normal.  It was not adorned by barbie dolls and I must admit under appreciated at the time.

You are correct. Actually the current state record beat the previous state record which was also from Lake Osakis. I may have to try and get me one of those buggers. I could use one of those t-shirts.

   While I entertain the thought of new blood in the smackdown thread, to bring children along with you is not a good idea.  Unless as is Thegreatoutdoors case you are experienced in taking  beatdowns as a young child. He takes them now  from girls and continues to carry on.      Hopefully he taught you to run and holler.

No worries DDS.  I'm just giving my teammates a chance to post some fish and not have any pressure.  I felt bad after you and Bobby said you were thinking of quitting the challenge because your teammates always posted bigger fish then you guys could ever catch.
