Campapalooza!

Ok so were two weeks away, and wife and i are really anticipating this! so I would like some thoughts on saturdaynight fishfry. first of all to all those that are attending, thank you and cant wait to meet ya an see a few ive met before. to those that cant you'll be missed and we will try again next year or over winter. Ill be there friday afternoon in site 32 so come by an introduce yourself.
  second, who would like to help with a fishfry on saturday for a supper. we can pick a time to eat, which means to be in off the lake an fish cleaned and ready to fry. dont want to eat at 9 oclock at night if ya know what I mean. who would like to help. i have a turkey fryer and could probably use another. so with that in mind if we have two fryers going then a couple hands to help season fish for the fryer it should go smooth an quick. also I thoguth it would be nice to have the fry a pot luck so to speak, If every campsite brought a side dish or dessert then we'd have a feast. Keep it simple, example, chips, some kinda potatoe dish, ect. have some of your paper plates and utensils avaiable aslo. so any thoiughst and Ideas and help, sound off. see ya there!

cool, bring it if ya can, if we dont use it then at leaste we have it. I'll bring a porta bbq grill in case somebody wants burgs or brauts or hottydogies.

I'm bringing my camp cook top so I can make coffee in the morning.
We will be up Friday afternoon some time, depending on if I get everything loaded the day before.

crud forgot about my camp perculator at the cabin, dont wanna fier up the generator in the morn disturbing people just run a the coffe maker, good call.

Looks pretty good for me to also attend this event. Just waiting to hear on the schedule at the new job. Is Cody gonna bring a football? Football is great exercise in two feet of lake water. The tackles do not hurt as much either. I do have a coffee maker that runs on a  1 lb. propane tank.

  The Skeeters started hatching big time Sat.  By Sunday they were out of control.  The ticks are plentiful and hungry as well.

seriously some of the things I will bring will be horseradish homemade salsa, so winter onions and I plan on smoking some nords to bring. along with other goodies. I have a fish batter thingy I can bring also with a special batter to.

well all the stars are starting to align itself in the correct order. one more little hurdle and it should be a go for us. I am confident it will happen as most this work stuff will be taken care of before that weekend.

Question - is anyone going up Saturday (or late Friday) from the cities? I would like to go up on Friday around noon and get the camp set up, but Wyofish might not be able to go up until late Friday or Saturday morning. No sense in both of us driving.

Cody  Leech is usually a slow lake early season for Muskie, but I know the spots to try...will be happy to steer you to the spots..battle point is good for both walleyes and Muskie early if the wind is blowing into it...
