That ol Scallywag is nothin but a Scurvy dog. before this challenge is over he will Scuttle his own ship and soon join Davy Jones' Locker.

He try's to Run a shot across the bow of all his mates but falls on his own Poop deck. He thinks his vessel is a Man-O-War but it remains just another Lund fishing the Dead Sea. He be just another Landlubber wannabe. This year he'll try to Hornswaggle another championship. Watch for the Jolly Roger flag aboard his ship, when all he really needs is a skunked flag. Before the season ends Borgie plans to Hang 'im from the yardarm. Ahoy, me Hearties! It shall be a bloodfest fur sure.

 boy sounds like lee is a little "yo ho ho and into a bottle of rum"  sure jim Id like to be on your team, yur a nice guy and it would be a lot of  fun certainly dont need yu to win the challenge, just a couple of team mates. in your case there is an I in team. its all about you buddy. theres also a M and a E and the way yu take it that spells "ME" " I wont rematch Boar but I'll take on anyteam single handedly" all about you buddy. If I end up on yur team chicken jim, you can run with it buddy, to put your minnow where yur mouth is.

  Interesting that you jokingly asked Lee.  I just want to remind any new contestant or anyone signing up late.  The teams consist of three randomly drawn members.  It is limited to 30 contestants.  There are no teams of one or two players.  If you sign up late and we don't have a multiple of three you will have to sit out the summer.   

    For example:   The next contestant to sign up will be the 21st.  That would complete a full 7 teams.   The 22 and 23 contestant would sit out this summer if we don't get to 24.   The moral of the story is don't wait.  Your chances of being included on a team get less as we get nearer the May deadline.

   Going it alone in the Official MNO challenge is not or ever has been an option.      One more contestant and we have 7 teams.  Everybody plays.  If we don't get one the last two will be out.    In all honesty It is very possible that this will be the last MNO fishing challenge as we know it.  The MNO ice fishing challenge has already been terminated unless volunteers step up.   Be sure to contact HD by pm if you would like to take that project on.  The MNO summer fishing challenge will go on for one more summer for sure.  We still could use another existing staff judge.

    Lee,  I don't know where you got that pic from but whatever marketing genius that put it together should be forced to wear thegreatoudoors underwear for a day.  That couple is more evil looking than  Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees's love spawn turd.  If you and Borgie look like that when you pull into Ely I could see why GO hides in the basement.  I did notice the pic is cropped close so the bat is not visible but the lady clearly is in a position to dirt plant the unsuspecting creepy dude.   I guess the team drawings being less than a month a way will very important.  I can see why some would be skeered to even put their name in the hat.  Greatoutdoors will be neutered before Borgie gets to him this year.   Watch your back Lee.  knowing her she is still going to want to clobber somebody.

I like some competition in a side bet,  something you never came close to doing when I massacred you last year. 
As I suggested before, you need to earn the right to show you're in the big leagues, by working your way back into contention and choosing an opponent you have a slight chance to beat. 
That would be DDS vs. Boar in a side bet that would go down to the wire, with you both tied at about 25 inches for a three fish total when it ends. 
You two ladies could end the tie by seeing who could knit a pair of socks faster!

      Alright boys and girls we are at a full 7 teams.  Only 9 more spots to fill.  We have 2 verbal in's yet to purchase their bumper sticker.  If they do we will only need one more contestant to make it to 8 randomly draw teams.  There will be no partial teams so get in quick and hope others follow.   We also have another prize donation.  Dakids comes through again with a brand new red fish board that he won in a previous MNO fishing challenge.  I will get a picture of it up soon.  The new leader board has frightened some of our past contestants.  Every contestant will have a running total of their top legal fish in each species.   It looks like we are going to have quite a shoot out this year.
