My my it's been a real ghost town here on the smack thread. Could it be that many of the enrollees' have lost their confidence this year.

I'll have to say as I can't blame them. Considering that everyone has to compete as individuals' this season without a strong angler like borgie or myself being on their team to pick them up in the standings. Not only that but are y'all afraid of winding up being posted on the ever popular
"Wall Of Shame" this season.

                       Just A Quick Observation:

As I've recently observed it seems that most of our challenge smackdown combatants' are still in hibernation. Could it be because of their poor performance in 2015. Or maybe it could be that they're just afraid of making  fools of themselves like they did last year.

Now's your chance to redeem your selves. Of course you'll have to prove your worthy by backing up your statements with results (fish! sample:  ). You do remember what a fish looks like don't you? Then again some of you may have forgotten since it's been so long.

"Meanwhile back at the ranch".... some of us have already begun to organize our boats and tackle. Then again we have the bunch that would rather just snooze a bit longer and we know who you are. For some unkown reason we have a category of some capable anglers that haven't signed up at this point.

Even though this is the smackdown thread we will not disclose the names of anyone that falls under one of these categories. You already know who you are

Just to show that there are no hard feelings Borgie and I talked it over. We decided when we arrive in Ely and the grand marshal blows the town air raid siren's to announce the Borgersen's have arrived you've been very helpful in bringing up the rear of the parade. To show our appreciation, we've decided to let you continue this in bringing up the rear as the rear guard.

Fawkinnae... Ive been a little busy with the new job so haven't had the time to  much for the 2016 MNO Challenge.  It was raining today so instead of organizing boat and tackle for a few months like Lee I grabbed a rod and went SHORE fishing like Boar!!

The rain stopped and this sweetie bit a dead smelt....released after a few photos...47"

Fawkinnae she was a beast...did some quick Math Boar and decided the Pictures were good enough..and released her to catch again.  Hook was back in her mouth and I did have to stick my hand in with the pliers to get it out...I think she could swallow a 4 lb walleye with NO problem..got out with just one cut on a finger.  Ill call her Sweetheart Lee!

Nice fish Corny! 47 inches, that's big enough to beat Glenn's or boar's three fish total.
