The boy and I decided to go for a ride on the ranger and took 5 traps with us.  We set all five and will check them in the morning.  He's hoping to make a bunch on money at the next township meeting.  Fun times

Wow Boar don't let the boy know that or he'd make me drive up there.  It's only $1 here for both front feet.

We are making a run.  3 of the 5 traps hit home.  2 were plug tight.

 What kind a traps the kids use??
 I got a pocket gopher problem here!!!! I set my wallet on a dresser with a 20 in it, a 10 a 5 or 2 and a couple ones. Next time I open it all I gotz is 7-8 ones left.I need a good trap set!

I have no idea if they are new or not.  I bought them at Runnings and they are as simple as squeezing the handles together and they are set.  I've had them for about 10 years.  Don't forget to stake them down.

They'd be new to me! Have had the old Death Klutch types for years but those look simpler.
The old traps still work as I found the other day. Sorta like me or most of me anyway...lol

We just took 15 of them in tonight to the township meeting.  The boy was really happy when they told him they just raised the price to $1.50. 

Dotch I have a few of those traps, but the boy can't set them himself so we don't use them.  They do a wonderful job though

Congrats to your son! I think they paid $.35 when I was a lad. Bought my first wristwatch (a whole $15) with my hard earned gopher feet money. Mom always liked finding those little jars in the freezer, NOT!
