theres a place on hwy 23 down by ruthton that has some pretty darn good jerky/stixs and turkey jerky. think its a shell gas station truck stop. for some reason my car ALWAYS TURNS IN THERE!!!!!!!!  :doah: :doah: :banghead: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

These sure aren't sale prices! One of the top five restaurants in the US.....check out the steak prices. Haveta be a union guy to eat there, even f they are dry-aged!  :doah:

UMM That's funny?? I was at Glenns place 4-5 weeks ago. I was twisted up cause of road closures an detours--Talked to his neighbor to the north and told him to tell Gleenn I stopped. He said bubba can tell him then walked away??

Back from deer camp.  Wish I was there now.  Cubs this week has beef chuck or shoulder roast for 3.99 lb.  fresh whole fryers 89 cents lb.  Pork bone in center cut pork chops 2.79 lb.  Beef boneless NY strip steaks 8.99 lb.  Beef bottom sirloin steak 3.99 lb.  85% lean ground beef 3.99 lb.  Essential everyday 16 oz bacon 3.99 each. 

County Market has pork bone in country style pork ribs 98 cents lb.  80 % lean ground beef 1.98 lb.Beef boneless top round steak 3.99 lb.  Beef boneless top round roast 3.69 lb. Pork shoulder steak 2.29 lb.

Aldi has a great price on St. Louis pork spareribs 1.99 lb.  and fresh family pack chicken drumsticks 69 cents lb.  good luck.

so reiny, got a question. you post county market, cub and aldi's mostly. do you have a coborns/cashwise meat markets where you get meat sale info????

the choices we/I have are coborns/cashwise in st. cloud, byerlys which is way spendy, or the local store thats a super value brand and 5 miles down the road my old hometown butcher shop/ grocery store that i believe is a home pride product>>>>>> they do there own meats at the meat counter however but because of the horseshoe chain of lakes and the tourists they dont do much for ads!!!!!!!!!

At Fareway...Just picked up some butterfly pig chops for $1.77 lb. They were out of the .99 bone-in. Noticed Chuck-eye steaks at $6.88 lb, and select oysters at same price as last year...$16 a lb. Yipe.   :doah:

Glenn, There is a Coburns around here and Sams and Costco but I just don't have the time to research every story around here. Costco and Sam's really don't have sales.  Their prices changes when their costs do.  If I'm in Costco or Sams for example which is not that much and see something that would be a good deal I would post it.  I have done it in the past with butts butt that was by the case which I buy sometime.  I kind of keep it in the area where I live.  But it would be great if others post sales of the stores where they live.  Kind of like "see something, say something" deal. good luck.

Fareway foods this week....bone-in pig loins, .99 lb....93/7 gr beef, $2.99 lb...sirloin tip roast, $3.88 lb.

Do you guys have Fareway Foods in the cities? Just wondering...

three Cubs stores are having a great deal on pork butts.  Cub in Minnetonka,  Waterford Cub off 169 and 55, and the Cub in Riverdale shopping center off Round Lake blvd. and Hwy 10 in Coon Rapinds.  Two in a bag all natural at 1.28 lb. I already got some and will get more tomorrow which is the last day.  It was a three day sale.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday so if you live near these cubs tomorrow is the last day.  good luck.

Fareway came from down our way, N Ia. I think Rochester & Faribault is as far north as they go, so far. :scratch: No comparison been them & Hy Vee's meat counter IMO.

OK Glenn Cashwise has burger 80% at $1.98 a lb, Bottom Sirloin steaks at $2.98 a lb, Boneless NY strip steaks 12 ouncers at $5.00 each which would be $6.67 a lb. Boneless bottom round steaks either sliced or sliced an tenderized for $3.48 a lb. The tenderized make good chicken fried steaks!UMMM. Eggs at $0.38 a dozen WOW last year wit the bird flu they were 3 bucks + a doz!!
 An glenn for yer deer camp toilet paper is on sale there also get lots for the BS you'll spread!!!!
 Wont get Teals flier till tomorrow!! They should be comming up to their biyearly meat sale which always beats every store by $$ a lb. but the cuts are primal cuts cheap and choice meat. Cashwise has chuck eyes filleted and stuffed wit swiss cheese,Mushrooms and bacon for $3.98 a lb never tried em but may be a good deal depending on the weight of cheese rooms an bacon.Think we'll try one an check it out

This week Cubs has Essential everyday frozen turkeys for 99 cents lb.  Jennio frozen turkeys 1.19 lb.  [I think essential and jennio are the same grade a birds, Essential is a Cub brand].  Beef T-bones for 6.99 lb.  Essential 16 oz bacon 2 for $6.  Large snow cluster crab 8.99 lb.  Beef boneless chuck roast 4.99 lb.Tyson frozen bnls breast in 2.5 lb. bags 2 for $10.  93 % lean ground beef 3.99 lb.  Pork butt roasts 1.19 lb.

County Market has their turkey prices depending on how much extra you buy.  78 cents/$75,  88 cents/$88, 98 cents/$25.  Boneless beef sirloin tip roast 2.98 lb.  Boneless rib eye roast 9.99 lb.  Center cut pork loin roast 2.29 lb.  Pork bone in country style ribs 1.49 lb.  Center cut pork chops boneless 2.69 lb. Beef boneless rump roast 3.79 lb.  GoldnPlump family pack drums or thighs 4.99 each.  good luck.

I was just at target today and market pantry turkeys were .79 per pound.  Turkey boobs were 1.39
