Ya, we picked the bones out for years, but once I learned to take the Y bones out eating pike was just that much more enjoyable.  Now I take the Y bones out except for small pike for pickled pike.  Pike to me is the best tasting fish.  Love walleye's, don't get me wrong but pike takes the edge.  good luck.

Great video HD,  I've only been pickling them up until last year. I've been battling the bones using the other method but the next fish I'll chop up this way.  :happy1:
