I know a lot of waterfowl hunters just toss the feathers and down from their kill, but is there anyone that would dispose of that into the hands of someone interested in the down?
Im an avid backpacker who has made a lot of my own gear, but buying down is not cheap. I thought if hunters were not using it, perhaps theyd be willing to someone who would.
Not even sure if its legal, but it seems selling various bird parts is or isnt depending.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's legal either......hhhhmmmmm
Not sure who to even ask....the DNR MIGHT be able to tell you.

I goose hunt a lot during the early season, but the down is mostly pin feathers at that time (young birds)
