I would take that shot!  We are heading up Thursday [two of us anyway], and the rest will come up Friday.  We will be eating sausage both Thursday and Friday.  Then beef stew, pulled pork, beef taco soup, and another meal my nephew is coming up with.  Bloody Mary's will be had by all along with other adult beverages.  Weather will be a lot warmer than last year.  Up near Brimson where I will be hunting they are saying 60 deg is possible and mild through Tuesday.  Hopefully we have cold nights in case we do get some deer.  good luck.

Emily Minnesota for me. I have a big boy like that on my camera this year, it's one of the biggest bucks I've seen around there for years. There's a brand new metal stand not too far from his huge scrape. My body will head for camp friday morning but my mind has already left.

Already here. I hunt my own property, 320 acres, with a crew of 9 or 10 others. One will get in Wed and the others late Thursday or Friday. A couple live close by so they don't show up till time to go to the stand.
My wife makes 5 gallons of stew for Saturday night and feeds our camp plus the cousin's camp plus any of the neighbors that show up.

I'm already here but Rick rolls in Thursday, Bob rolls in sunday and Ty rolls in the next Friday. I have a spot I want to prep when Rick gets here if he is game. I have not been excited for hunting for a couple years. But this year really enjoying it. I'm going to stay out of my spot for a couple days and then sneak in there Wednesday eve.

I'll be headed up Friday as soon as I'm off work. I'll slowly pack stud throughout this week.

I've been at the hunting land 6 of the past 9 days.  Some bow hunting some just diddling around.  Today I helped a friend get his equipment out to his stand about a quarter mile across a swamp.  We picked up my Argo and made easy work of it.  I don't know how but he plans to walk there to hunt.  He will follow the trail we made.
I will go for gun hunting on Friday.  Being I've been bow hunting, everything is pretty much set. Just have to remember the gun.

Im heading to MN on Friday. Going to bowhunt the afternoon/eve in a public spot I know then meet my buddy at his lake place that night. Then try and get him a buck with his gun tag sat and sun. Still debating whether or not I will shell out the $170 for a nr gun tag but I am very grateful its an option in the great state of Mn I was born in. Thank you Minnesotans for the opportunity. In ND it can take years to draw a buck gun tag.  :deer:

Heading back friday afternoon.  Already had a doe and a buck past me the other weekend while I was twiddling my thumbs in my stand.  Sneaky little buggers.

Hey Hawg-we must be hunting neighbors.  I'll be up to Emily Friday morning also.  We stay at the Lake Emily Resort.  If you're around Friday night, drop by and say hi.  First rental cabin on the left as you pull in along the lakeshore.  Look for the green Ford Explorer.
