You too Glenn!!  everyone be safe, that's the most important thing.  Do the adult beverages around the campfire at night.  Most of all enjoy your family and friends that are hunting with you.  Remember, the deer is a bonus, the outdoors , just being there, and your friends and family are the best thing about deer camp.  good luck.

Hey good point you two.  Getting a deer is a bonus.  Being with people that we love or even like is the big picture.  I will hunt with my brother, and my wife will be in the ground blind with me.  It is so much fun with her looking out a window for a deer.  AND she has a license too since she is helping to hunt deer.  She thinks that is cool that she actually has a license.  Maybe I can get her to shoot with the new 243.

Note to all you headed to deer camp this week. If you got a doe permit be sure to take the post card with you and have it on your person while hunting. It is the only evidence you have a permit and having it with you may save you some extra paperwork from your friendly local CO. Good luck all and be careful out there.

Yes to all good luck and have fun with friends and family. I head to camp tomorrow after work. I ma getting excited, it is almost here. I will have to phone or computer access at deer camp. very poor signal there.

Thanks to Glen and everyone else too.  Can't stress it enough.  Have fun, but hunt safe.  Anyone passing through the Emily area is welcome to stop by Friday night for a bowl of chili.  We're at the Lake Emily Resort just off 6 as you get to Lake Emily.  Let us know your coming.  We've got plenty of chow.

I agree. Good luck to all and bring your sunscreen and mosquito spray :). Shortening up Winter a bit day by day, providing ideal combining conditions isn't all bad. Be safe and I'm alcohol free this year, still feeling last weekends Halloween party. Us older guys a bit realize how warm and how difficult dragging one could become, take a lot of breaks and get help. I mention this because 3 years ago my dad barely made it to St. Cloud in time for a quad bypass. Good Luck !

I was kicking my self for not bringing up any gear, what with the beautiful weather and everything.  There were two boats out on the lake Sunday.  One came by the resort and there was a Yah Baby up front in shorts and a Bikini.  In friggin' November!
