just curious!!!!! i originally started my from a seed packet............then came volunteers...................now i save seeds and when i need dill for he year i kinda just sprinkle it around da garden.

HEY HD!!!!!! last summer/fall i was sniveling about my cucumbers not doing so good. you mentioned they need or require lots of additional nutrients.

what did you mean by that or what do you do to help them out???????

I just looked at caterpilars.  The closest one to the ones I found in the dirt of my raised garden as we were weeding is a corn earworm.  Does that sound logical?  I will try to find another one and take a pic of it.

That sure looks like it Rebs.  It looked like the one on the tomato.  I found them in the garden box where we had tomatoes.

Wish it would quit raining soon. My garden is gonna need to learn how to swim! River is just about ready to go over the bank. Inches.........river would not get to my garden.....but we have enough water for now

I hear ya, I just got back from the greenhouse from getting my tarragon and savory for my garden.......dem farm fields gotz water standing!!!!!!!!!! were gonna maybe wish for some of this in july and aug!!!!!!

3 and 7/10" since Monday here....River is creeping over the bank. I was hoping for a shot of sun today with this wind. Coulda maybe cut the grass later. But not gonna happen. Gonna be dumping the bagger cart a lot this next go around

Real close to 2.03" at the ranch, 2.3" at the neighbors pasture and about 2.5" in Bugtussle proper since Monday. Will be able to see more closely how much in town in the a.m. Not a lot of rain relative to some places but it'll be 7 straight days with measurable precip. Today is another yucko. Cold and breezy with scattered patches of drizzle moving through. Only major gardening move I made was planting the cannas last Monday. Starting to look like I'll need to employ the Round Up scorched earth policy to burn off the annual bluegrass cover on the main garden before I can start there.

I had another inch and a half this morning. grass is pretty wet but still got my mind set on mowing it. I don't bag my clippings!!!!!
