I have wondered about that hunter that was found shot in his stand during deer season.  I just read a good article in the Strib about him.  Sounds like a genuinely good guy.  Maybe HD can post the story here for us.  Sure hope they figure out who shot him.

Yup he was hunting on family land where they have a gravel pit.  Sounds like they have people trespassing often..  Investigation couldn't find anything bad about the guy who got shot.  Just seems to be a good guy...

Authorities: Hunter's Death Near Little Falls was Homicide

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) - Authorities now call the death of a deer hunter last month in Morrison County of central Minnesota a homicide.

Forty-one-year-old Terrence Brisk was found shot to death near Little Falls Nov. 7. Investigators weren't sure then it was accidental or intentional. But based on follow-up leads, multiple interviews and the medical examiner's findings, they're now calling it a homicide.

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen said at a news conference Wednesday his office is committed to working the case around the clock to get the answers the Brisk family and the community deserve.

Authorities are still searching for Brisk's gun, which they think was stolen from him. It's an older Winchester AE .30-30 lever action rifle with a wooden stock and forearm and no sling.

A $20,000 reward has been offered.

yes that is the same one.  we know someone who involved after the incident and it all stinks and we can only hope they catch the person or persons.  all that is left to say a prayer for the family.
