Walleye numbers and moving fish houses were the topic on lake state fishing.
 On moving houses the one guy says rent a sleeper, bring portable, find your own fish ,come back  and get drunk and puke down hole. wtf

I read the report on the other site,question has been doggin me since last summer as the walleye #'s seem to be dwindling...And now this winter.

I have a buddy that works for the DNR, a statement was made that the walleyes have migrated to Reservation waters due to the amount of pressure on state waters. It's said the reservation fish counts have been going up year after year especially near the border. My buddy said the lake is not fished out, but the state waters side feels like it is due to the decline from the migration.

I have been fishing up here since I was 6 years old. 51 years.  Back in the late summer when the bite was tough we always said they migrate down to cooler water.

Sounds like that site has alot of internal issues,pretty sure the sites owner bowed out as they have another Administrator and a few staff members jumped ship,no loss there as the couple guyz that left had the barney fife ego.

Ya its was a weird thing  met Mike years ago  during the crappie boom. He was giving out lsf cards and told me there was enough up here and would not give me his cards? I guess when I met him I rubbed him the wrong way. He was with a big group of guys staying at nines toes cabin. Then he kept warning me about my fishing reports. Then I learned how to post pics and posted a couple pics of my houses and that was the last straw? to funny.
 I'm great friends with Kirk on there as he is a moderator. He loves coming here and I took him out years ago to catch his first elusive yet still catchable upper red lake crappie.I have been trying to get back to that spot for 10 years.
Kirk rents from another outfit up here but I always try and go see him when he is here

actually its not! I am registered there but rarely post. us it mostly to read reports for northern Minnesota when I plan to go that way. mainly lake conditions....I do my own thing when it comes to lakes!!! and you don't even wanna get invovlrd in a mille lacs conversation!!!!!
