i am an advid listener to that radio station all day long. love there music selection. yea Barnard can be a real "richard" on the morning show but........anyway i got a text this morning from a friend that said Terry Trien and Brian Zepp got fired from there show that aires from 5 - 7 weekdays. they are no longer listed as DJ's on the website. my friend said he seen in on the 10 pm news last nite. i cant find anything on this. did anyone see or hear anything about this. i am dieing to find out what happened............those to were great toghether!!!!!!!!!!!

there still on the station with there advertising spots, but are no longer listed as on air disc jockeys.

i know barnard an Zepp had issues..............all of a sudden OLE Tommy didnt like the way zepp talked about women and zepp was forced out of the morning show, but yet the way bryce talked  about porn was ok????????

terry wanted to do her own thing. and i agree she may have asked for some of the abuse she didnt, in my mind, deserve what barnard dished out to her.

thats old news buckwheat!!!!!!!!!!!! thats when she went from the morning show to joining Zepp from  5 to 7 pm. apparently they both just got axed..........that REALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

i dont totally disagree....................but that morning show hasnt been one of the best morning shows in the country for the better part of 27 years for no reason. i sometimes would love to punch him right in the ole kisser........................but man on alot of things i agree with his opinion an a whole lot of things!!!

Ya years ago KQ was the place to be.  When we went to the cities for anything we couldn't wait to get close enough to get KQ on the radio...

Bouncing Terri and Zepp off the Morning Show could very well have been Tom's doing, but I have no way of knowing.

But I'll bet Terri and Zepp getting fired yesterday was simply a business decision.  Everything is driven by the dollar in major market radio.  Terri and Brian have been competing in the afternoon drive slot for about a year now.   If the advertising revenue their show brought in didn't justify their salaries, they were gone.

I have no idea what radio folks make or how much more morning/afternoon drive-time "personalities" make compared to "regular" disk jockeys, but the radio business can be very cut-throat.  If corporate dictates that expenses need to be reduced, you can bet heads are going to roll.

I agree,always have been a listener,my take is Tom must be a real asshle to work with,always liked Terri chiming in with goofy jokes or coming in from left field with stuff driving Tom nuts but very intertaining,this new gig since terri and zep left sucks.

I also remember reading on kq's facebook that Tom cut $600k off his salery to keep a couple folks on the time card,but ever since Tony,stretch and the entire crew departed the show sucks in my opinion and other folks as well.

Tom has admitted his contract is almost up and he's done,but the damage has been done and won't/hasn't been the same pretty sure he could care less.

  think he's got 2 for sure maybe 3 years left on that contract.

At work is the only time I listen to the radio, in my vehicle it's satellite. I'll jump around and as soon as kq's morning show comes on I'm otta there until it's over, I can't stand him he's so opinionated on everything it drives me crazy.  93x puts on some pretty interesting shows I'll catch here and there.  With having whatever you want on satellite radio, I figured it was a matter of time on the local stations, but the sponsors must still be writing big checks.

its kinda like the opinion page in the paper..........or the editorial section!!!!!!!! and honestly alot of times i agree with his opinion........not always but.............. he kinda sent ole howe stern where da bear poops in da woods!!!!!!!!!
