I just put 3 3# pieces of pork belly in Pops Brine.  I did add some pure maple syrup and some brown sugar too.  Whenever I do bacon I end up browsing online for slicers.  One of those things I don't really need but would be fun to have one.  Do you guys have one?

I can't see the picture Glenn.  I see Cabelas has a 12" one normally $449 on sale for $349 and free shipping.  Lot of money but paying for something that does not work is even more expensive.  Would be fun to cut that bacon with it.

barry the wife an i use our slice quite often. we buy hams and turkey and slice it up for sandwhich meat. bacon, canadian bacon, when i make summer sausge ect. its very useful

I got a Nebco (think that's how you spell it) for slicing meat, it's electric. Think I got it at Target..... I know it wasn't over a hundred bucks.

It doesn't slice pickles very good though....
