And like Paul used to say, "Now we know the rest of the story!"     :happy1:
yea yea.........you tried to kick the hornets nest.........and dotch put ya in your place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sleazy:  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: i know how you operate!!!!!!!!!!!! :happy1: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I just learned a lot from Dotch's post, since I know nothing of farming. The newspaper should therefore issue a correction and be notified. Should I ask the DNR to issue another exemption, as I've found something else that's blue and fulla manure?     :rotflmao:

Up here, hogs have been taking a back seat to the cattle and turkey barns, (not as many pig farmers anymore)...so most of the fertilizer is coming from them. We used to get our fields sprayed with pig chit, and you can tell the difference in the bushel per acre.

Now, I've never understood how they get permitted without more pit capacity than they have just to account for situations like this.

Government lobbyist and farm bill legislation; brought to you by the same folks who don't think it is necessary to required double fencing to keep CWD infected deer from escaping the farms they were shipped to.

Woman facing assault charges after allegedly driving over her son

March 19, 2019

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A rural Rochester woman is facing second degree assault charges after allegedly driving over her son.

58-year-old Cynthia Grund was arrested after the incident 5:15 p.m. Monday on the 3500 block of County Road 150 SW.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Grund’s 37-year-old son has problems with alcohol. When Grund and her husband told him to leave their home, he went out and laid his body across the driveway. He allegedly said, “Why don’t you just run me over?” The sheriff’s office reports Grund then did just that.

Grund’s son was taken to Mayo Clinic – Saint Marys Hospital with significant injuries to his head and pelvis.

Cynthia Grund told the responding deputy, “He had been drinking all day. He didn’t think I was going to do it. We gave him a chance.”

I guess she will get probation, like the guy that chased the people with his car, got out waving a big knife, then tried again to run over them.
Or the guy with 15 pounds of weed...

Two Canadians were injured Tuesday after a semi collided with at least one cow on Interstate 35 near the Geneva exit.

Lovepereet Singh, 24, of Edmonton, Alberta, and Gurshehbaj Singh, 25, of Edmonton were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Lovepereet Singh was driving a 2013 Kenworth semi tractor south on I-35 when he was unable to avoid multiple cattle in the road, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, losing control of the vehicle and causing it to roll at 3:47 a.m.

At the time of the crash, Minnesota State Patrol advised there were seven to eight cattle walking on the road.

Albert Lea police, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted on scene.

Is it still your fault if you hit livestock on the interstate, like it is on county roads?

I hit some livestock at Walmart the other day, the Aisle Bovines.®  The lowing and bellering was ear splitting. :doah:

Right you are, Roony. In over 99% of the cases, the animals owner is held liable, even if negligence is hard to prove. I look at it as fresh burger for all. 🐄
