Add #5 to that list of shooting sports.. since I’ve moved I’ve been spending every waking moment remodeling and now that we’re wrapping that up I’m joining a shooting club and getting into a sporting/trap league again.. the nsca in Minnesota is a mess and until they get over their little sissy slap hurt feelings fight I won’t support em again

Nsca.. national sporting clays association. Each state has a chapter Minnesota chapter has been a crap show for the last few years and the old leadership got voted out and has been crying about it.. it’s really sad to watch a grown man throw a temper tantrum

glenn57,
You should come to our MDHA banquet.  You could bid on this turkey hunt.  It will be a Silent Auction item so there is no reason you couldn't get it.

Silent Auction item at the Sherburne County Swampbucks MDHA banquet.

Three day semi-guided 2018 Spring Turkey Hunt for two (2) on over 800 acres of private land located in SE Morrison County just 50 miles north of Big Lake.
(Permit area 508)
The Hunt includes:
1.   Lodging for two in heated rustic cabin located 2 miles from the nearest road.
2.   4 – 6 popup blinds set up on good proven turkey hunting locations.
3.   Scout your own spots as there are many excellent locations on open fields or wooded ridges.
4.   Dates are open to most any time during the last four 2018 hunting periods. Archery Spring Season (over-the-counter) May 2 - May 31).  Season “C” May 2 – 8, Season “D” May 9 – 15, Season E - May 10-16, Season “F”- May 17-31 (14 days)
5.   Note: There is no lottery during these seasons and licenses are available over the counter.
You Provide:
A.   Food and Drink.  A gas stove and BBQ are available for your use.
B.   Guns, Bows, Decoys, and Calls.  (There will be some calls and decoys at the cabin).
C.   Turkey Licenses.
***I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.***

Time to start digging the boat out.  Can't wait for open water.  Also looking forward to doing some shooting and timber cruising.

Working for me too.  Is Rebs the first one kicked off this site.  Don't remember him talking about auger extensions.  That was Boars downfall back in kindergarden.
